Pam Corkery’s show axed
September 15th, 2003 at 6:23 pm by David FarrarNZ Pundit has just alerted me to the fact that TVNZ has axed The Last Word. I can only speculate whether it is because of the controversy over Corkery’s September 11 remarks, but do wonder why else one would stop a show four weeks early, when one could have just let it run the duration of the contract.
It doesn’t look like a happy decision, despite the spin of being a mutual agreement, as a meda ban has been imposed on all parties and staff.

Well now that you have got rid of Pam can you concentrate on getting rid of Bill English

I agree that Bill English needs to be removed as Leader of the Opposition – by making him Prime Minister!

What an absolute shame Pam’s show was axed. It is the only good thing tvnz has done for ages.
