LOTR is cleaning up!

Lord of the Rings is having a huge day at the Oscars having won seven out of seven so far. I can't see how the big two (Picture, Director) won't go to Jackson. A huge landslide so far.

LOTR Winners to date (in order presented) are:

Best Art Direction: Grant Major (Art Direction), Dan Hennah and Alan Lee (Set Decoration)
Best Costume Design: Ngila Dickson and Richard Taylor
Best Achievement in Visual Effects: Jim Rygiel, Joe Letteri, Randall William Cook and Alex Funke
Best Makeup: Richard Taylor and Peter King
Best Sound: Christopher Boyes, Michael Semanick, Michael Hedges and Hammond Peek
Best (Score): Howard Shore
Best Film Editing: Jamie Selkirk

UPDATE: and now:

Best Song: Fran Walsh, Annie Lennox and Howard Shore for ‘Into the West'

If LOTR wins Picture, Director and adapted Screenplay it will have set a record by tieing at 11 (with Titanic and Ben Hur) for Most Oscars for a single , but of those three, LOTR would be the only one to have won in every nominated category

UPDATE:

Best Adapted Screenplay: , Fran Walsh, and Philippa Boyens
Best Director: Peter Jackson

I was hoping LOTR would get Best Picture and Director. I doubt anyone seriously thought it would win all 11 Oscars from 11 nominations. It is inconceivable Best Picture is not going to go to LOTR after the other 10 awards.
