Mediawatch

I am surprised that the mediawatch blog has been absolutely silent on the NZ Herald plagiarism scandal. If this is not a huge issue for media watchers, what is? Perhaps it was on the radio show which I haven’t listened to lately?

I note from the mediawatch site that Fairfax have sent a letter to Murray McCully protesting McCully’s criticisms of a senior Dominion Post editorial staffer.

The interesting thing with the letter it is threatens defamation, states the staff member in question has an outstanding reputation, but doesn’t in any way address the detail of the complaints from McCully.
