Credit Cards Fees

I am very pleased the Commerce Commission is taking action against the banks and credit card companies over their lack of disclosure.

Until I read the article this morning, I had no idea my bank charges me a fee for overseas transactions, and works it into the exchange rate.

As I have been out of NZ seven times in the last 12 months, and charge almost anything to my credit cards, I would most certainly look at changing card company or bank on the basis of their overseas transaction fees.
