Don’t they learn?

The SST reported that some people are upset at the lanuguage used by Martin Devlin at the Taranaki Sports Awards.

Being outraged at Martin Devlin telling rude jokes and using expletives, is a bit like being outraged because a cat killed a mouse – they are both totally predictable, being natural behaviour for them.

If they did not want that sort of speech, perhaps thsy should have oh you know not invited someone who is famous for them.

    For this trend, as well as any number of other reasons, I am so glad that my life will have more 20th century history than 21st.

    Mr Devlin is a great announcer and speaker. He is not cute, Jules.
    I bet it was actually a very funny speech, in true Devlin style, and it is just a couple of wowsers that are making a fuss, as usual.
