Labour Party Candidate Stephen Ching

Aaron Bhatnagar has some good details on the mini-scandal around highly ranked Labour Party Candidate Stephen Ching.

I have some sympathy for Labour. All parties have difficulties from time to time with candidates who have not revealed all.

When I worked briefly at National, I wanted all candidate applications to include compulsory police checks, credit checks, media searches plus their latest tax statements from the IRD!! This did not happen 🙂
