Xtra’s correct homepage is http://xtramsn.co.nz not http://xtramsn.com.
Did Telecom own the com version as well?
http://www.xtra.co.nz links to http://xtramsn.co.nz/home/
Cheers

My homepage was xtramsn.com and it always had the telecom xtramsn content.

Ah, speaking as someone who knows someone who…
Telecom’s websites are a mess (or were a year ago, anyway). Lots of different people from different parts of Telecom created/registered lots of different domains, and set up various small websites with no central control. Some static content, some dynamic, etc. Lots of masking to other domains (like this xtramsn.com being xtramsn.co.nz). Then staff leave, change jobs, people lose track…
Typical problems with a big business where the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing.
Of course if it was ACC then everyone in this thread would be screaming about how incompetent and ineffective govt depts are. But we all know that private enterprises are complete models of efficiency.

No Icehawk – I think it’s pretty silly of Telecom as well. Beggar’s belief that they would allow it to happen. I know its not a big thing in the scheme of things, but amusing to note nevertheless.

So who’s going to buy it then?
Or would it be taken back off you once Telescum found out?

They appear to have paid up this morning, the redirect back to xtra.co.nz now seems to work.
{normal transmission resumed, move along everyone, nothing to see here,]
