Lawyer facing ban

NZPA reports on the case of an Auckland lawyer fighting suspension on the grounds he is “incompetent, disrespectful to the judiciary and the courts, is continually late, brings the legal profession into disrepute and is not fit to practise”.

Now the story goes onto say how “a lengthy drugs trial being aborted because the trial judge said the criminal defence lawyer’s cross-examination was lengthy, confused, repetitive, irrelevant and embarrassing”.

Hmmn that rings a bell. How could I find an online article mentioing said lawyer. Well hey the NZ Herald has these neat categories for all their stories. Including one for drug abuse!
