Abortion Law

Well who would have thought a Labour MP would be the one to call for abortion laws to be tightened.

George Hawkins is putting a private member’s bill forward on the issue. He needs though the support of his Labour caucus and I can imagine some “over my dead body” positions from some MPs there.

I’m pro-choice but can’t say I see the proposal of enhanced counselling for those who have had more than one abortion as particularly unreasonable. Mind you I’m unlikely to ever judge that first hand!
