Another cartoon!
March 31st, 2006 at 6:15 am by David FarrarAn Islamic paper in Indonesia has published a cartoon showing Aussie PM John Howard and Foreign Minister Alexander Downer as fornicating dingos with Howard mounting Downer saying “”I want Papua!! Alex! Try to make it happen.”

Unfortunately Australia will not be declaring jihad on Indonesia or burning down their embassy. In fact Howard has said “I’ve been in this game a long time. If I got offended by cartoons – golly heavens above, give us a break”
I’ve tried to find an online verson to publish here but no luck so far. If anyone can find a copy let me know. The cartoon was in the Dom Post print edition and is quite funny, albeit certainly offensive.

How weak. Aussie cartoonists will be disappointed at the pathetic nature of their Indonesian Cartoonist Brethren. I predict either one of two things happening:
1) Australian Cartoonists start mocking the hell out of Indonesian clerics and politicians
2) Australia holds a contest to see who can come up with the most offensive cartoon about their own politicians (just like Israeli Jews did on the Holocaust).
Good on John Howard for his rational response.

Obviously we can now expect rioting throughout Bali from our trans-tasman cousins, with demos in all the big Australian cities too.
For such a prudish religion, you might thing showing the sex act even in cartoon form might be a bit much of muslims, especially on the front page of as newspaper, but obviously not.
There again, according to the UK Daily Telegraph, copulating canines is an important part of Islamic life.

ummmm…. Your a fucking racist dick, your argument looses any shred of creditability when you use a word like Muzzies.
As was pointed out earlier, there is a big difference between John Howard (A right royal knob) and the Prophet Mohammad.
I don’t recall there ever being a religion based around him, nor any law preventing people from making depictions of him.
And although it I may not have a high opinion of him, you cannot say that all Moslem’s feel that way.
And if you defended publishing the Prophet Mohammad cartoons being published then you have no right to comment here either.
Personally I think Australia need to keep their sticky fucking fingers out of West Papua, but so does Indonesia

Howard’s willie has a flag hanging on it AND I believe it may be pointing the wrong way.I will blow the dust of my ” Marital Hygiene 1938;Guide to Decency in Marriage” ,and check out which way the willie should be pointing during the err..act as my memory quite fails me.
