Sentence is appropriate
Like many, my first reaction upon hearing that a sentence of only one year and 11 months was given to someone involved in the Bentley home invasion was outrage.
But once I read the story in full and realised the person being referred to took no part of the actual burglary, invasion or assault it is a very different matter. Almost two years for suggesting the burglary is definitely appropriate, and I note those who actually carried it out got nine years.
