The youngest chief petty officer

Five year old Diego Enrique Santiago has just become the youngest ever chief petty officer in the US Navy, just like his father. He is battling lung cancer, and unlikely to ever make the grade the traditional way, so the Chief Petty Officer of the Navy gave his permission for Diego to join the exclusive ranks of Navy Chief Petty Officers.
