MFAT accountability to Parliament

What does it mean when Murray McCully and liberal blogger No Right Turn agree on an issue?

Either:

“Today’s temperature in Hell is a a brisk -5 degrees”

Or someone has done something so wrong that everyone can see it.

The culprit in this case is MFAT who don’t seem to understand that their accountability to Parliament is not under the Official Information Act, and this required the Foreign Affairs and Defence Select Committee to reprimand them by noting:

We are concerned that such a substantial and senior agency of state such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade does not understand its obligations to Parliament.

Now remind me again who the Minister of Foreign Affairs is?
