Airports okay
Well to my great surprise Auckland Airport has never been quicker. It took me less than five minutes from arriving at the international terminal to making the koru club lounge. The security check was more thorough but quite quick.
The problem actually came at Wellington Airport where they said that the laptop would have to be checked in. The instructions change by the hour it seems, but upon checking I got the okay for my laptop but the cellphone had to go into the suitcase. So my plans to call a few people from Auckland didn’t happen.
I think we have a gate check to go through also. And could be quite intrusive at the other end but as it is San Francisco not Los Angeles, that may help.
I’m in San Fran for four days and then driving with friends to Carmel, where Clint was once teh Mayor!

Auckland Airport has never been more expensive either David.
Dig up the landing fees and you’ll see that they’re ridicolously expensive compared with big and better cities around the world.

Yes, Carmel County was unfortunately his first stop into politics. Have a good trip mate.
