Well done Lewis

Excellent to hear!!! Well done Lewis, and regards to the rest of the team as well. I’m in deepest darkest Poland at the moment and have been trying to find out what happened at JS. I presume that makes it a victory for Vic 3!!!

And I am amused that if people are in Poland, they use this blog to find out who won a debating competition

It’s just part of Vic Debsoc’s global dominance
. I think we’ve got two former members who’re now MPs (Finlayson and someone else)

Yeah, I think it’s the true mark of a geek that even when he’s travelling through Eastern Europe for several months (presumably to get away from it all) he still reads NZ blogs religiously. .
Chris was indeed a former debsoc’er, and Parliamentary Shield holder, as he will proudly tell you (just don’t ask him about Plunket Medal!). I’m sure there are other MPs who are DebSoc alumni as well….
