And the Labour lawyers will be listening.
Notice you toned completely your spurious claims whence last you were on ‘Agenda’
Did the TVNZ lawyers read you the riot act in the green room since they dont want to be paying for your loose lips

Hey David, you did great. Nothing better to listen to while sitting in Auckland traffic than you having a go at the socialists. Well done. I see the Darnton Trade me auction is up to 35,000 views and still the Q&S’s keep coming!

Hayman joins the ranks of those inventing things. No-one at TVNZ gave me any guidance on what to say or not to say.
Of course though I react differently to different mediums. My blog is where I get highly opinionated and also love to rark people.
If I get invited onto TV or radio I tend to present my views in a less colourful way.

David, very good interview. Did you hear the retard who came on after you? Labour should really get a good PR advisor. They should not encourage all Labour supporters to ring talkback. It can be counterproductive when they do not have a clue what they are talking about.
One thing I have been trying to find out is the details of how and why National missed the GST. I am sure it was accidental. That is not just because I am a National supporter but it would not make sense for them to do so deliberately. So if you or someone knows the details I would appreciate them

No I did not hear the person after me.
The GST error is quite simple. National knows and has always known the broadcasting allocation includes GST. National has in no way been confused on the issue. The media ad purchasing company though thought it was GST exclusive (radio industry generally is always GST exclusive).
What National did wrong was not to instruct the media company in writing of the amount allocated to it. They should have.

As you say David National ‘knew’ it was GST inclusive but the media buying company didnt. So the same mistake was made with Labour?. Or was there a special blunder only for Nationals benefit.
Funny the election before, National spent government funds on electionering but didnt this time ( no rush to pay that back I notice) – except for 6 MPS who again made a special blunder and had their hearing aides turned off when the AG made his pronouncements in stone.
Of course which must give the benefit of the doubt to national each time as they are the victims if any blunders are made, never making the same mistake two elections in a row.
Nice little story , complete fabrication of course.
All makes the AL Gore is the ‘real’ President story took like a sunday school picnic

Summing up any hayman comment on this blog, in his/her own words -
‘Nice little story , complete fabrication of course.’

yeah well most companies do operate on a ‘gst exclusive’ basis when costing our projects for clients- seems to me that was a legit blunder (though no less forgiveable for all that) and I hope someone in the party backroom got their head knocked over it

Well, Hayman, both DPF and I would have liked to see National prosecuted and their defence tested in an open court. What a shame the Police know nothing about electoral law and care even less… though panting Labour-adors can’t really complain about that without looking a wee bit hypocritical. Not that it’s ever stopped the likes of Hodgson, Mallard and Cullen before.
