Blog Drinks
Wow a year has already gone by since the last blog drinks. So Jordan and I have scheduled the 2007 blog drinks. Details:
Date: Tuesday 16 January
Time: 5.30 pm onwards
Place: Hope Brothers Bar, corner Dixon and Eva streets
All are welcome – bloggers, blog commenters and lurkers alike. The aim is to be upstairs, in the area on the right hand side of the top of the stairs.

I’ve been a lurker to your blog for over a year now. It was the first blog I ever read…was probably looking for political commentary on some issue & stumbled onto it. I’ve also enjoyed reading the comments of non-lurkers. So thanks to all!

Yes it is. Auckland Blog Drinks would be a great idea also, but needs to be organised by a local. Given enough advance warning I would try and schedule soemthing so I can make Auckland drinks also.

The bar is called Forde’s Front Bench. I hate it. But would be a good place for blogger’s drinks in Auckland. Dammit! Why do you guys have to meet in Auckland?

No Burt – it was actually someone from the other side of the political spectrum who genuinely forgot to pay and it was sorted out.
The good thing about the drinks was that none of the left/right blog sniping happened (that I witnessed anyway) so it’d be good to keep up that tradition.
