Reading between the lines

The media often deliberately give away information in stories in which they also claim they can’t name a suspect etc. It was obvious from early coverage of the Kahui Twins deaths, that the father was prime suspect.

Noe the Sunday News had a story saying a second arrest is expected. They of course officially don’t name the person they have been told will be charged, but we later in the article see a sudden swap of topic to say:

Sunday News has also learned the twins’ mother, Macsyna King, has a new boyfriend.

So why mention that? Because in all likilihood it is the Sunday News way of naming the suspect when they legally can’t. And just to remove any doubt, we also have:

Macsyna’s brother Robert King, who has been outspoken about the need for people to be held accountable for his nephews’ deaths, did not want to comment on the claim about an imminent second arrest.

This is the Sunday News stressing the point, and sort of calling the King family hypocrites.
