Bloody hell! I’ve done the bloody lot! I can’t believe you haven’t done Waitangi, Arrowtown, One Tree Hill, Whakarewarewa or Te Mata Peak, David! Shame on you!

Yay! Palmerston North made the list.
Vote:Number 99: The Rugby Museum.
Of course this was a very accurate poll, and I voted for this many times to cover the people who would have voted had they known about it.

When you say you have ‘done’ Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe and Tongariro – you mean you drove past them right? Or did you make it to the top of them all?

Am I the only one whose automatic response on seeing a list of things you MUST DO is ‘piss off’? Some of the best holidays I’ve ever had were a matter of coming to a crossroads, tossing a coin and seeing where it took me.

I agree Craig. And now the top ten will swarm with people keen on their “must do” holidays.

Pretty shocking that I haven’t been on the ferry, reality is I prefer travelling overseas than around NZ.
Number 68 – we had to run up that for swimming and netball training, it kept you fit that’s for sure.

“Some of the best holidays I’ve ever had were a matter of coming to a crossroads, tossing a coin and seeing where it took me.”
And that’s just how many of us ended up at so many of the places in the list.

Are you suggesting Craig that you go both ways after you toss?

Just read your like Whaleoil, and nothing there convinced me the idiotic threats, crude launguage and downright rudeness should convince anyone that you have anything intelligent to say.

I fail to see why you seem to think that Christchurch City at No 61 beats Wellington & Auckland when there are 9 different things on the list from Auckland and 6 from Wellinton. (I’m including No’s 41 & 53 in both Cities)

7 out of the top 8 are in the South Island. We kicked the North Island’s butt! Yeah!
