Could it have been that the voting in 2005 in a certain South Auckland electorate was conducted under the Socialists Way that is Vote early and vote often, No Im sure it couldnt be although other people may have a different opinion.

You are duty bound to uphold a convention of political neutrality, and I shouldn’t have to be telling you that.

Considering the Labour party has consistently attacked what, for centuaries, have been classed as morals, then the only conclusion I can draw is that you are confusing the concept of morals and ideology.

As far as morals and ethics, Labour have almost none. Any internal or self ethical regulation that once existed has been replaced by expediency and equivalence.

Surely the real story is that Parliament is employing dumbass luddites who’ve never heard of IPs, server logs, etc.

Don’t worry about poll rigging, folks. This is the online equivalent of voting, going to your car, sticking on a joke shop moustache and an overcoat, and trying to convince the polling officer you’re your own distant cousin Luigi

How on earth did they think that flooding the DomPost site wouldn’t get noticed?!

No wonder NZ is light years behind the rest of the world in terms of Internet services and online democracy.

What isnt shown is how much of Keys support came from Parliament.
Its well known that electorate agents are busy on talkback lines plugging the line of the day.

Plus DPF seems to have more info about the timing of the voting than is available from the story.

And you might be paying their wages, but you are also paying my wages. I’m a public servant. That means I work for the Government of the time – which (and it pains you all this point) is a Labour Government. Thus I work for the Labour party…I’m sure you can see where I’m going.

Danyl McLauchlan, where are you yooohoooo ! You had a lot to say about supposed rigging of the petition against retrospective legislation. Anything to say on this?

I’m at Melbourne Uni, taking a course at the Medical School. And this seems to be a spectacular endorsement of my point that online polls are utterly worthless.

I also had a letter to the editor published in the Dom Post the other week attacking their story about their online poll that ‘proved’ ‘most New Zealanders’ supported Andertons comments about Bush and Iraq.

It’s always nice to be vindicated in such a spectacular manner.
