David Russell retires Add this story to Scoopit!.

David Russell has written a farewell blog post after several decades with the Consumers’ Institute.

Go over there and thank him for everything he has done for NZ consumers. I think we are all a lot better off for his efforts.

    I agree he has served this nation well. He deserves to rate highly in the honour’s list.

    Yeah, Russell is a good kiwi joker alright. I hope he receives an honour somewhere along the line, also. NZ society is better off for his contribution to it. Thank you David, good luck and best wishes for a long and happy life.

    He is a great guy, and I usually agree with his comments, but I was surprised to hear him say the other day that property investors should be taxed for having more than one property. How very SOCIALIST of him.
