I totally agree that people won't pick up a second remote to watch it unless the programmes are world-class. Even using another mode on a multi-use remote might be a bit much. Freeview will not go satellite HD, only terrestial ). TVNZ may want more leverage over Sky, but they're going to have to balance that with viewers who just don't come to them. I know I wouldn't.
