OK Craig, I’ll give up the assertion that the Labour Party is the paragon of moral virtue – oh, that ‘s right, I never said such a thing. Overall however I do agree with you – But I can’t let you Tories do all the moralising now can i?

Anyway, that’s off the point. For the record, I think that National and the EB took part in some dodgy behaviour at the last election, and I find it very hard to take seriously a group that seeks to exert influence over the political process while refusing to exercise the most basic right in a democratic society.

I also think that Labour took part in some dodgy behaviour, the pledge card springs to mind. Neither side is lily white, and I don’t understand how anyone can claim perfection for their side. In the case of the section 59 debate, I simply don’t think it is reasonable to state that the National party is endorsing “fundamentalists” and their practices because they happen to agree on this one particular issue.

I dunno – i think both sides could appreciate this one:

If as you claimed his argument was wrong, then you would have made him look very silly. However your attack on Whaleoil failed and so the only conclusion is that you would be beaten in a debate by either a 5yr/old or a retard.
