Sky TV Movies on demand
May 29th, 2007 at 3:38 pm by David FarrarLater this year Sky TV will have around 12 0 15 movies available on demand through My Sky.
This is the future for movies – not going to the video store to hire them for a week, but pushing a button on your TV remote.

Most countries have had this for the last 3 years. What has happened to NZ – We use to be right on top in picking up new technology?

Bah. Had that in Aus for a number of years, and never used it once. They charge through the nose for it. We buy DVDs instead, it works out about the same if you watch the movies a couple of times.

We already have movies on demand.. its called teh intarweb.
The minute some company makes an on demand set top box, that say uses teh bittorrent network and pays the royalties to whoever it goes is the day I will be very happy.
Knowing you have access to a massive database of legitimate media, that you can access on demand.
