Telecom going GSM

Juha has a nice scoop on how Telecom is going to build a GSM network. They will be keeping their CDMA network also.

    Wish they would stop calling it a GSM network, you will not be able to use your GSM handset on the network.

    It is a 850 UMTS network.

    GSM?? Australia is in the process of ditching it’s CDMA and replacing it with one nationwide mobile systrem called Next G. This will access GSM and CDMA areas.. CDMA is a very old system
