Moving this weekend

The blog is moving platforms on Saturday – from the current Movable Type installation to a Word Press base. The new platform will have an anti-spam check for comments, which should help reduce the load on the blog.

As the current server is near death, we’re doing the move before we have all the features we want on the new blog. So at first it will be a fairly bland standard WordPress look. Over the next couple of weeks features such as most recent comments, the all important ads, the blogroll etc will get added back on. The design may change a bit too.

Anyway comments are now turned off to allow for the transition and don’t expect any new posts until late Saturday or at the worst Sunday.
