Some people have a go at Whale Oil for his shall we say colourful language used regarding Government supporters, such as labelling them lickspittles.

Considering a Minister of the Crown has now labelled Air New Zealand a “lickspittle lackey of the Australian and American Governments”, let there be no more complaints about bloggers using the term.
