Win US$1 million
The NZ based new social networking site, iYomu, is offering a prize of US$1 million, and the winner will be voted on by iYomu members.
How it works is you become a member and win points for completing puzzles and tasks. The top ten points scorers will be interviewed by iYomu and thee grand finalists selected from them. Then the entire iYomu membership will vote on who should win.
The challenge starts this week and runs until 31 December 2007. You can gain points by referring friends, completing user profiles and solving 12 puzzles featuring different locations from around the world.

As it is a NZ based company, it would be great if a Kiwi won the US$1 million. I know I’ll be aiming to win.

When I tried that beta, the console was worthless, even on very fast broadband. Have things improved?

I have tried it out – attracted by the original 5 or 10,000 $US. I can’t even get the profile to save and I am less than underwhelmed by some of the choices available in the dropdowns. I consider myself to be cynical overall and I did suggest that to Yomu twice. I had to settle for sceptical but as the profile wasn’t saved it was all a waste of time and effort.
Can’t see the point in social networking sites but then as I am not particularly sociable I probably fall way outside the target audience.
(This security code is the most painful I have ever experienced. I just can’t seem to get it right – 5th time lucky!)

There are a few security codes that got me for a while but then you get used to them. The thing that looks like 1 is actually I (for example).

Don’t wish to be rude but how do you people find the time for this stuff? Have you ever heard of the thing called work. As for the million dollars, I’ll give you some free advice, work for it!!!!! it will come a lot quicker.
