You can still submit!

September 8th, 2007 at 10:52 am by David Farrar

The online submission facility for the Electoral Finance Bill is still working and the good people in the Office of the Clerk traditionally will still process submissions that come in over a weekend, if there was a Friday deadline.

Go to this post for details of how to make your submission, and some issues you can mention in your submission. Go ahead and do it – you’ll feel better for it.  And ask to be heard by the Select Committee, unless that would freak you out.  The Select Committee can travel about so don’t worry if you live outside Wellington.

I made a submission and said I’d like to be heard. But then I got phoned on Friday and told I was up at 11:15am Thursday. So now I AM freaked out!

Still at least its only 10 minutes, I’ll come up with a couple of salient points regarding the hypocracy of Helen Clark being allowed to protest the Vietnam war and against apartheid, but now seeks to remove that right for everyone else for one year in three.

Don’t expect them to grant you any legitimacy. The way they view it is that this is all happening only because of the actions of rabid right wing bloggers like David Farrar. You’re all anti-democratic fascists, nut jobs, haters, wreckers, and Exclusive Brethren in disguise.
