I’ll spend most of today blogging the local body results I find interesting. Will be up in Auckland this pm, so will especially be interested in the races up there.

I am hoping the left will get a hard message: runaway spending with large rate increases hurts people on low incomes the hardest. I look forward to Glenda Fryer and her type being axed. That womans face should be used as a mould for gorilla biscuits.

Thanks to Tim Barclays “Gorilla Biscuits” comment, I am now suffering from a sore stomach laughing so much – that is the funniest post I have seen in some time!

anyone know bout hamilton
very good balance betwen veterans and new personalities who have been inspiring voices in the community.
In fact I am more attracted to most of the fresh candidates who have proven they deserve a chance.
Too many politicians rely on respectability. Thats far too shallow and disingenous these days. respectability covers agendas, not men with moustaches as the blondes with glasses would have us believe.
can’t believe labour hauled into that baseless opinion.
no moustaches, and no respect for the electorate.
