I have properties in Auckland city, Hamilton city and Tauranga city and did not get any votes there this year. Friends with beach houses on the Coromandel Peninsula did not get a vote there this year. One friend got a vote at Hahei, but as a family trust owns the property he he had to get four pages of forms signed by no less than a notary public. I dearly wanted to vote for John Banks as I think the bludging Jafas deserve the bastard. Give him a few years though. And unaha-closp, C&R did not pick Banksie. They do not endorse a mayoral candidate and Banks is running as an independent.
