McGee confirmed as Ombudsman

The Speaker has confirmed that Clerk of the House David McGee, will take up an appointment as an Ombudsman on 19 November.  This has been supported by all parties in Parliament.

McGee has been Clerk for 22 years and served in the Office of the Clerk for over 33 years.

I blogged back on the 13th of September that he was an outstanding choice to be an Ombudsman.
