Finlay says pay journalists more

Finlay MacDonald says one answer to the problem of left-wing bias (I prefer to think of it as world-view rather than conscious bias) is to pay journalists more.

While simplistic, he is partly right.

Top print journalists should be able to earn six figure sums.

I’m on a NZ journalism mailing list and from that have got some idea of pay rates, and they’re pretty appalling for many.
