November 28th, 2007 at 8:53 am by David FarrarThe NY Times reports:
Garry Kasparov, the former chess champion and opposition leader, was arrested Saturday and sentenced to five days in jail after trying to lead a march to the offices of the federal election authorities.
Wow, I didn’t know Russia already had an Electoral Finance Act. Kasparov must have forgotten to put his name and address on his placard.

Now this is what I mean and they say conspiracy is a dirty word.
These things are started somewhere in the world and spread.
I remember seeing Howard looking straight down the camera barrel and state Australia handles our problems Australian ways, then promptly introduced GST.
The EFB does not belong to Helen Clark, she’s been ordered to implement it. From this blog post, obviously we inherited it from Russia. It’ll move on to Aus. Same thing happened with workers contracts bill.
They are all introduced pests. Our politicians have no original ideas.

Sam’s party wants a “knowledge economy” – well at least they’ve spent millions on bureaucrats talking to each other about it so I assume they do.
1. To have a knowledge economy you need to assume that people can sort out fact from fiction or advertising. Are they really saying that the voters who have benefited from the fantastic education that labour has provided are so stupid that they cannot think for themselves enough to decide who to vote for?
2. To have a modern first world economy we need ideas people. Ideas people who will be insulted by this legislation.
3. To have this modern economy we need freedom of speech and free interchange of ideas – why do you think the countries of the OECD and those with free speech are one and the same?
As usual with this government’s legislation, all they are doing is working against the people they need to get them out of the sh*t.

Funny that our Labour party like to strongly ally itself with the Blair now Brown mob. In fact they closely examine and share strategic initiatives.
I guess that is all over now as this type of activity will have to be publicly condemned by the NZ Labour team.
