Battlestar Galactica Top Ten

March 22nd, 2008 at 12:20 pm by David Farrar

David Letterman has the cast of Battlestar Galactica on his show to read out the top ten reasons to watch the fourth and final season of Battlestar Galactica.

It starts in a couple of weeks. I can’t wait. Unlike Lost, which has started to lose the plot, BSG have been smart in doing just four seasons so it will hopefully go out on a high.

David give me off topic demerits if you like but that holiday trading poll is the most ham fisted neurolinguistic pile of agrenda driven bollocks I’ve ever seen you publish.

    Shame sir!

Regardless of the merits of BSG, Lost remains number one in my books.

Was it just me, or did Tricia Helfer look about ready to visit the writers’ room with an Uzi?

I would note that this isn’t all there will be … Caprica has been greenlit for a pilot.

    I can’t get no relief…

I’m afraid that song is permanently associated with the last few episodes of season 3, for me, now. But that’s okay. Because it was fucking awesome, and I can’t wait for the final season.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noted how odd it is to be talking about the return of BSG “in a couple of weeks” when that’s the timeframe for its return to the SciFi Channel in the US? No word yet on when the show is due to screen on our local network …

Of course, you’d have to be frakkin’ crazy to wait. I’ll be downloading it along with everyone else on this thread. But just how widespread is BitTorrenting in EnZed anyway?

Well … let’s just say that last year, thanks to intrepid cap’ers on the east coast, I was often starting to watch downloaded BSG episodes at about the same time as it was being broadcast on the US west coast :-)

I don’t feel too bad about ripping them off as I buy the DVD sets once they’re available.

No. But we did get a season 3 dvd release before they did in the US.

Pricks – we missed all the special features.
