Gotta laugh at the Herald’s headline though – “‘Boy wonder’ falls into line with doctors” – I daresay that will be used in exchanges from time to time!

In other words Hodgson told us to go away and sort it out on our own and then Cunliffe came along with leadership ambitions, saw the opportunity for headlines, and intervened at the request of a rich and powerful union.
Thought we got rid of this kind of thing in the 1980s? Do we really want ministers subverting negotiations?
