Scrubone comments on a new blog called The Hairy Armpit which is meant to be rather offensive. It is being talked about a bit because Russell Brown was happy to link to it but not happy to link to Whale Oil.
Personally I don’t care who links to who, but I did love Scrubone’s description of The Hairy Armpit:
The irony was that it was a post from Russel at Hard News where he refused to link to Whaleoil. Frankly, if you turned Cam into a women, feminist, cut of a leg or something to make him really mad then removed his remaining inhibitions and decency via a combination of “P” (Ice for you foreign looking types
) and acid then you’d get the Hairy Armpit.
I now have a visual image of Cameron as a one legged woman high on P and acid!

Yeah, watch out for Faye Frankenfurter! I tried being nice to her and was deluged with filth. I think the Handmirror, who Faye calls the Handjob, have got it wrong.
And of course, you’ve now ensured that she gets even more views, which is just what she craves…

Wow .. the Hairy Armpit sure is full on! Amusing in part, but disturbing in others.
And I dont think (s)he likes you DPF, I am sure you have read it, but (s)he’s OK with getting arrested if he gets to spit at you.

Um, think it’s a bit over the top to call “the hairy armpit” more offensive than whaleoil. After all, you really don’t get much more offensive than this.

Hmmm. Faye says she was banned by [Insert expletives even I wouldn't touch] Farrar and have no right to comment here. This would mean, if thinking logically, that Faye must be one of:
* Dressed to the Left/Stan/Jeremy R
* Dad4Justice
* Ghost Who Walks
* Rocket Boy
* Robert Owen
* Robinson/d
* Sam Dixon/Daedulus
Colour me surprised. I wouldn’t have picked any of those as a hardcore feminist like Faye. But hey, I guess I never knew Dad4Justice well enough

It is her second blog. This one has been quiet for a week or two after a frenzy of hate directed at Cam and myself.
I made the mistake of responding to her comments at my blog and it became a bit heated for a week or so.
Eger, play nice. Those new council wheelie bins are “half man” size remember.

I’m still not entirely sure that Hairy Armpit is actually real, but she certainly fits in with the company she keeps.
I’ve linked to Whaleoil before. It was more a matter of not wanting to link directly to his completely freaking bizarre campaign against a 23 year-old would-be socialite. It’s very, very weird stuff.

Russell, it started with his regular lampooning of the Gluc, at which point the 23 yo got all heavy with Mr Slater. This tends to lead him straight to the kennel where he unleashed his hounds and it has all got out of hand from there. if she had left it well alone we would not now all be discussing it on the three biggest poli blogs in the country!

If “The Hairy Armpit” is for real then he/she is a Screaming Nutter, (and not the only one) , and he/she should just be ignored.
If “The Hairy Armpit” is meant to be some sort of elaborate joke, or an ironic piss-take of The Standard or anyone else, then the humour is not really elegant enough to make it worth reading through the whole thing trying to figure it out (and I tried!!) and he/she should just be ignored. (And it probably STILL takes a screaming nutter to have a chip on his/her shoulder that chronic!)
I mean, I’m no National supporter, but putting up pictures of John Key as Hitler and calling him “Johntard” does nobody any good, and it does The hairy Armpit the least good of all.
(The Hairy Armpit is not dissimilar in that regard to some of the crafters of essentially meaningless little monikers you see on here, e.g. Hulun, Klark, Kullen, Sullen, Helen Davis, Crazy, Krazy, Helengrad, Liarbor, Liarbour, Liarbore, Luigi, H2, “Fucking commie scum” etc etc…)
