Wonder if Stephen will endorse Welfare for Families? Someone should ask him at the chamber of commerce do tomorrow.

Would do it myself, but can’t be arsed anymore.

Is there a more unfortunate “authorised by” name in the whole country?……
    I think not.

and do they have to regurgitate/recycle the four seasons?

    Again?

That (thankfully) died an unnatural death in the late 90s after years of suffering.

Who is their advisor on cultural matters? Don’t they know any other “classy” music than that?

adc – I guess if you have decided you want to do a movie like that about the actual seasons then there is only one really universally-known set of “Seasons” music there is, and that is Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. A movie director who also actually knew his/her music could do a nicer job using Chopin Preludes and Etudes, or the Bach Cello suites, or late Beethoven Quartets or almost *anything* else; but they didn’t, so there it is I suppose.

And have to agree with Barnsley Bill, I’m not sure that being authorised by T.Watts is exactly the most ringing endorsement our Steve could have found….

rrm – still begs the question why the National Party chose to support / promote this particular film….

yes – most unfortunate name. Wonder if it’s really the person’s name or if it’s just a dig at the EFA…

Stephen Franks will make a valuable contribution to the National caucus later this year when he enters parliament as a National MP. As an experienced politician it would not be unreasonable to expect that a cabinet position awaits.
