August 31st, 2008 at 8:57 am by David Farrar

The SST reveals that as recently as May or June, Labour were asking Owen Glenn for more money.

Considering the smear campaign they now have againgst him, he will be very glad he did not donate!

Given that they were obviously after more money to fund their election campaign,
I would like to ask the following question…

If the Americans have their election on November 4
(And they are fully aware of when their election will be)

Why is it that our elections will take place on a similar date
AND WE STILL DON”T KNOW WHEN THE ELECTION DATE IS???

The Americans could teach us a thing or two about democracy

Helen give up your other dirty secrets and “Tell us when the election is”
Or are you “too busy”, or has “no-one asked” yet?

Why can’t Dear Leader sell a House or two?

Why can’t the Party sell and leaseback some of their vast portfolio?

Corrupt, you make your mind up. This is a Labour Disgrace, Again, and Again.

    Money, Money, Money.

No Donor is going to put their head over the rampart for a decade. Broken pledges, Crazy Antics, Dreadful Governance.

Now is payback time! The Maligned Donors will have their pound of flesh.

    As for funds raising?

Scampi Quotas for sale! New Paintings by our Leader. Toll Holding luck money back.

And any Power Company that our new Best Friends the Chinese want to buy cheap for a contribution.

Oh and just FUCK OFF you Canadian (and now Alaskan) Bastards!!!

    I’m guessing he refused.

As for an election date, I’m guessing the announcement will be made mid-September. If no date by 1st October, then I’d be starting to worry that things had gone seriously anti-democratic. But since there is so much swirling around the PM right now, she’ll be lucky to get through the next week and a half without calling it quits.

I’m beginning to be surprised at just how out of touch the media are becoming. All month Winston has been on about how he has nothing to answer; that it will be all over in ten minutes; that the SFO will not charge him. And now we have various articles telling us how he will get over 5% and that he can get into the house again just by smiling. If you match the chronological facts against his statements and Helen Clark’s statements you get a real picture of just how far south it has gone for the government. All the various columnists offering alternately pesimistic, passive agressive, delusional optimistic suggestions just reflects their personal outlook. It doesn’t reconcile the facts. It’s over for Winston. It’s over for Helen, Labour and the coalition. A donation is not going to save them.

I suggest the real purpose of the Glen/Williams meeting was to give Glen an alternative, damage control story (as opposed to the truth) to tell.

    == Electoral Finance Bill ==
This bill creates a stand-alone Act (the Electoral Finance Act) to provide more transparency and accountability in the democratic process, prevent the undue influence of wealth, and promote participation in parliamentary democracy.

So Labour and their poodles rage against ‘big money’ while before/during/after such rage they continue to deceive the NZ public.

A vote for Labour is a vote for dishonest, deceiptful government.

It appears Mike Williams met with OG in the past few months according to http://www.stuff.co.nz so who knows where it fits in the time line of events, it matters not another horrific embarrassment to the corrupt govt and its venal power crazed leader.

Hahahahaha, is one response, yet I am still saddened that the country of my birth has been allowed to be dragged into such a mire, by the scum ridden power hungry megalomaniacal labour party and its sniveling obsequious minority coalition partners.

9 years of smoke screens over policies either rushed through under urgency, or by stealth. Diversions used to distract the public while its rights and freedoms are systematically raped and pillaged. If there was oil in NZ, Bush would have overthrown Clark ages ago.

There would be no sweeter smell for expats and those who have either chosen to stay or not had the option of leaving, than that of her flesh burning in the fiery pits of hell. Chances are though she would scare satan out of hades.
