Where did the $158,000 go?

August 2nd, 2008 at 9:51 am by David Farrar

The Dom Post has been trying to track down the nine charities NZ First claimed it donated $158,000 (identified by the Auditor-General as illegally benefiting NZ First) to. All 45 big national charities talked to have said they never got a cent.

I imagine someone has checked this out, but there is no chance the Spencer Trust is a charity is there? :-)

Why are you laughing? If it’s not, there will be nine others which are, all administered by the same people.

The Dom Post could check out a donation ‘for charity’ made by the national party to the television companies.

The TV companies arent charities of course . No news on the the so called charities who were supposed to benefit.

Now Stephen Joyce is going to be a list only MP , he might explain the email from the media booking company he got saying at the rate they were spending they would run out of government allocated funds before the election date

    Same old same old hey?
To dumb to even feel halfway embarrassed by that lame post.
You belong to a corrupt party (that supports slave labour)

“I think the only thing he is probably guilty of is trying to be helpful to someone.”

Even worse is Michael Cullen. For at least Clark made her defence before the Ingram Report. But here is what Dr Cullen said *after* the Ingram Report came out, which was damning of Field:

So Mr Field has some matters to work through with the Labour leadership and the Labour whips. But he works incredibly hard on behalf of his constituents. He has people coming to him from all over Auckland for assistance, not just in immigration cases but in many other cases. He works harder on those matters than I suspect the entire National Party caucus does on constituency cases. If that is what he is guilty of, then I am sure he is happy to plead guilty to working hard on behalf of his constituents.)

That is now supporting an equally dodgy Peters.

(Now we will hear that you are not a Labour voter…yes we know. No lefty has ever been a labour supporter)

So you know all the facts Bok ?

    Explain this :

National’s campaign manager, Steven Joyce, told police that he had informed Rainmakers the amount was $900,000 GST inclusive.
    Rainmakers says he did not.
The police file has emails that raise questions as to why Joyce did not pick up on the problem prior to the 17 September election.
One email, a month before the election, from Rainmakers to Joyce, warned they would overspend their $900,000 allocation if they continued with their booked advertising.

However, the National Party went ahead with it, and as a result received $112,493 in free advertising: Television New Zealand (TVNZ) $57,000, the Radio Bureau $24,000, TV3 $20,000, Prime $6,000, and Sky TV $3,000.

While without doubt Im a labour voter, Im not a member of the party. I doubt you belong to National either.

The name Rainmakers , dont you just love those advertising guys

One Minister in this Labour Government has been treating immigrant labourers as his slaves.

Another has, in the last day or so, tried to use homosexuality as a smear.

The same Minister is well known for his anti-Asian racism.

Why are these lefties so old fashioned? It’s as if NZ has joined the 21st century, but have left the Labour Government behind in the 1950s.

I know that this is hard for you to understand, but try. we are talking about probably the biggest financial scandal in NZ politics … you are rabbeting on about a technicality that has been tested by auditors and found a nonsense.

At the same time Labour willfully and knowingly against advice stole nearly 6 times the amount that you are now wetting your undies over. And again they were audited and found to be in the wrong. But as a supporter of a homophobic, racist and found to be criminal government (theft is a crime you know) you are still to dumb to get it.

I used to get a bit irate that some could be so devoid of rational thought and principles, the likes of you and the BS artist RN, Tane and sonic, but now I just feel sad that NZ were, is and will be for a very long time , so much worse off for having people like you and those you support here.

And the saddest part of all? Look around who are the ones suffering? The rich billionaires that buys your policies (Like Glen and the China FTA)? Nah. the poor worker who you, Tane Sonic RN and your Master HE Clark have royally screwed and betrayed.

None of you believe in looking after the poor and the needy (The bible bashers like the sallies does that for you) You dont believe in equality. Like the mass murderer Che you walk around punching the air with one fist, shouting “freedom!” While with the other hand shooting those poor souls who does not submit to his freedom. This time not with bullets …but for how long not?

Stealing policies? While that is up for debate, there’s no debate that Labour stole $800,000 from the public purse, and that NZ Last has raped and pillaged the consolidated fund as well. Dirty, dirty pool.

One must remember to carefully parse Winston’s statements before jumping to conclusions. Clearly the DomPost haven’t done even the most basic research, which would be to look up what “charitable” means, namely:

    char·i·ta·ble [char-i-tuh-buhl] –adjective
    1. generous in donations or gifts to relieve the needs of indigent, ill, or helpless persons, or of animals: a charitable man giving much money to feed the poor.
    2. kindly or lenient in judging people, acts, etc.: charitable in his opinions of others.

Clearly the people to whom Winston has given our $158,000 fit the second description of charitable, particularly in terms of their view of his receipt and disbursement of money… including giving them our $158,000.

See? It’s easy if you know how :-D

What needs to happen next is a phone call to every charity registered by the Charities Commission. I bet no one has received that money. It’s a con and a fraud. Maybe it has gone to the Spencer Trust?

Whatever, it’s still owed to the taxpayer. That slimy Peter Dunne hasn’t paid his either – about time the media started asking questions about him too.

It is conceivable that the Spencer Trust has charitable status. The question should be put to Peters (both Winston and Wayne).

Another interesting aspect is Wayne Peters has significant investment interests in the racing industry as an owner. The vehicle through which those interests are owned should be explored. Is he holding investments “in trust” for Winston?

One thing is certain – the Spencer Trust has not paid the rates on the Peters family land in the North. Apparently thousands of dollars is outstanding and every year the Councl rights off the portion of the debt that is more than six years old!

i thought the funniest one was the dirt he dished on the greens…

    ..the ‘green scandal’..

..apparantly the former green mp..who is now a natty…

..was bonking a lawyer who was submitting to the select committee he was on..

..in a thunderous tone..(after detailing this malfeasance)..

    he finished with the flourish..

    ..”..and now..he’s married to her..!..”

    (heh-heh..!..)

    (everyone laughed..the greens looked bemused..)

..but aside from what..or what not..hides’ vile yellow jacket signifies..

(and face it..who really fucken cares..?..)

..there dosen’t appear to be much to go on..

..i’m thinking there’ll be richer pickings to be had from national..

    ..eh..?

..i mean..national have been doing it for so long..

    ..eh..?

..they should have a battalion of slush-fund/influence peddling/buying skeletons to be rattled..
