Heard the radio report on the 9pm NewstalkZB-supplied bulletin last night.

It turns out that — even though at the time Winston went back and “checked his records” and found that he had reimbursed his blood brother Brian “out of his own pocket” — now Winston finds that the pocket in question was in fact firmly attached to the Spencer Trust at the time (http://newstalkzb.co.nz/newsdetail1.asp?storyID=144792).

The mendacious one now says that he “gave the Privileges Committee a different explanation because he was only working from memory at the time.” Interesting place to keep your records.

Of course, the only reason this came to light last night was because the Alzheimers cleared briefly — nothing to do with the SFO briefing to the PC earlier in the week.

Peters has become extremely careless in almost every statement he’s making now

“Mr Peters says the trust was set up to help New Zealand First with legal expenses, and it did just that. He says Mr Henry paid the money, and was later reimbursed by the Spencer Trust.”

NZF legal expenses? – no -remember Winnie you previously claimed Owen Glenn lied because he said he donated to NZF.

My son will be 15 at the start of Year 13 and could, theoretically have finished a degree by the time he is 18.
No gap year, or work experience, or OE for him until the White Witch says so.

Has anyone else noticed the term “Clark/Peters Axis” has stuck? How wonderful.

I see commentary to the effect Clark is trying to steal Winston’s ‘old buggers constituency from him. The best way to appeal to voters aged 65 and over is to talk about the election campaign as a battle between the Axis Powers and the Allies. It’s enough to make me dust off my Spitfire and Bren Gun.

What is really interesting is that Larry Williams at the end of the interview says to Winston “Thank you for calling.” I take that to mean that Winston called unexpectedly.

To me that shows two things:
1) Just how small NZ politics is when a senior politician rings a radio station to try and defend himself.
2) An element of desperation in Winston’s actions and words. Democrymum is right. The tone of his voice is very telling.

The attraction of Labour is easy, it is the party for the envious and lazy, they want to be better off but they do not want to do the work.
They hate the idea that some people have got off their arse and done well, they seem to think that the world owes them a living, people like Clark know this and feed from it, what Labour voters fail to realise is that they are being used by Labour and that Labour will never do anything to improve their lot in life.

In a nutshell Labour voters are either stupid, lazy, or they have a communist/socialist agenda they want to push.

Yes it is. I noted his hand shaking during one of the committee hearings on TV too. He’s been caught and he knows it. I would have had sympathy for him if he hadn’t tried to destroy the careers of people who are just doing their jobs. His treatment of the SFO CEO reminds me of Hulun’s treatment of the drivers of her speeding convoy.

Both of them are shocking examples of leadership.

Edit: I see another rogue poll was released this morning. When are people going to learn, no one really supports National, we are all Labour at heart and the election has already been decided. By Helen.

I saw that “rogue” poll this morning too,sub-edited in The Southland Times as “Poll points to rout by National Party”Labor and its cronies must believe in voodoo if they think they are going to win power.Hence the “headless chook” mentality by Clark,Cullen and Winston Last.
Any poll aware person knows the key is how long they have had this lead. National’s had that lead for over a year while Key has enjoyed support as preferred PM for almost the same length of time. The signs are very ominous for Labor.
There can’t be too many uncertains around now, except for the NZFirst voters one hears on talkback. Still claiming that the rest are as bad and so that makes Winston like pure white toilet paper before being used.Probably can’t sleep because they are worried that Winston has found hobgoblins in his Spencer Trust

Venezuela is the place to watch, I reckon: thick, thick, thick voters who “give Chavez an inch” again and again and again and DO NOT LEARN when he takes a mile every time……..things hang in the balance there right now…….at the point at which it is possible that a majority of the thick, thick, thick Venezuelans might actually vote Chavez out, there will probably be no election held in which they can do it……and no election for decades, misery, enslavement……

OK, it hasn’t happened in an Anglo Democracy………YET.

I have been meaning to raise a question I have had in the back of my mind for some time: Is “philu” genuine, or is he some kind of paid stooge with the aim of provoking rightwingers to make comments that some day will be recycled and used by the Heleban as an example of rightwing “hate speech”; perhaps as justification for some sort of blog control legislation?

Perhaps some of the “moderate” rightwingers (BLEAH) could start taking me seriously about the nature of the Leftwing beast?

The easiest anti-phool software is in your head, just automatically scroll when you see his retarded double full stops and double newlines, it quickly becomes a muscle memory thing that you do automatically without wasting too many neurotransmitters that could be better spent on posters who are capable of rational thought and coherent argument

What a great way to wreck a brilliant game and put the jinx on them for next week.

I issue I have is that she’s pubically stated on many occasions she doen’t like sport, but always manages to like it enough if there is a photo opportunity.
