There are a few options for this entrepreneurial Pom.

Canada, Australia, and somewhere in the EU. We also have a Gaffe in Spain, just south of Barcelona.

So what?

I am sickened by the vile and nasty administration that Labour is.

Greater Manchester has a higher GDP than Scotland, and certainly NZ.

The rumours swirling around Wellington are that Helen Clark has used undue, and illegal influence over a very disturbing set of

events in the US. The main rumour is about an incident in LAX. Red herring. The vile rumours keep coming back to someone close

to Helen Clark as having inappropriate relationships with a minor in California.

These dreadful rumours have swept through the Manhattan. So please Helen Clark can you please categorically deny in writing that

these awful stories are in fact dreadful lies?

[DPF: If you want a response from the PM, then write to her or file a request for info under the OIA. But do not post accusations as questions here. Yes I know Government Ministers do that all the time, but I am not going to let the blog become a home for these rumours]

Remember Ralston’s claim a week or so ago that he hadn’t made up his mind who he was going to vote for?? In this week’s column he says this-

“The whirling maelstrom of the Peters affair has sucked an otherwise competent and astute government into a disastrous shambles.”

Good grief, I try not to bitch too much about the lameness of the media in NZ, but hell, to claim that apart from the Winston Peter’s affair, the Klark government has been “competent and astute” is just partisan nonsense. What about the EFB for just one example Bill?

Cultural Marxism is rife in New Zealand and crippling political discourse and the democratic process. Nowhere is it more damaging than in the media. Ralston and others should be doing their damn job. They should be shining light on so many issues and they don’t. Let’s not forget they were forced to follow up on the Peter’s affair by the efforts of the blogosphere. In six months, the mainstream media never showed the slightest inclination to ask Klark the questions that should have been asked. Compare this to their endless hounding of Don Brash and the Exclusive Brethren.

Ralston once ran the most influential media organization in the country. No wonder is it that TV One is mainly just a lame apologist for left wing cronyism and corruption and gangsterism. We need real political discourse in this country. I’m sick of left wingers like Ralston setting the agenda. This country is so far down the leftist road there’s many who criticise Ralston for being right wing for chrissakes.

Right now, the only real alternative to leftist propaganda are the bloggers. Without the blogosphere, imagine what a load of leftist crap we’d all be fed. Sixty years ago, soldiers died for democracy. We’re so engulfed in cultural Marxism and leftist totalitarianism in NZ today, there’s hardly a scrap of it left to fight for.

I feel so sick.

In both Desert Storms, the SAS and SBS escorted Canadian IT specialists from Nortel to ensure that the coms were fine.

And so they were. Amazing techs the cannucks.

So Australia lost 2 soldiers. In the whole event.

The Kiwis and Aussies were also complicit. As were Canadian Special Forces.

Perhaps Act’s mystery candidate will be Jim Anderton. He got tired of Labour and defected, he got tired of the Alliance and defected. Perfaps he has now got tired of the Progressive Party and wants to defect again. He has seen the light, and realised that Roger Douglas was right all along.

Anyone tired of reading in articles like this that the credit crisis is “almost the collapse of capitalism”?!!

Philu keeps bringing up the credit crisis as if it’s representative of a failing in capitalism but I just don’t know anywhere that states that capitalism only goes up. In fact, it’s candy eyed socialists like Gordon Brown who think with their manipulation of open markets that they’ve “ended the boom and bust cycle”.

If you hear people smearing capitalism because of the “credit crisis”, I challenge you to question where they get that idea from.

Well done Raybon. It is a pity that people like Phil U (who claimed to be well educated) are falling for this bullshit. I thought that this so called talking to the dead bullshit is something that only the populations of 3rd world & under-developed countries followed & believed in. WHY? Because the level of education in science hasn’t penetrated those societies. Witch doctors are common. Alternative medicine is the norm. Agricultural/horticultural farming are still based on ancient beliefs, and all these bullshit. Well one who lives in an advanced society can see these people and say, aha, I can definitely understand why they do that and the reason is, they’re still living in the dark ages, but when you see such mystic practices in advanced societies such as NZ with a huge number of followers who endorsed them wholeheartedly without questioning them, you start to think if you’re in fact living in a 3rd world country. I have experienced mysticism first hand in the village, where I grew up in the thick of it , so I know they’re bullshit.

Just saw the nonsense on TV3 about cultural audits. Before a road can go in it is standard practice to search the area for ghosts, spirits etc at who knows how much cost to the taxpayer. What a joke. But typical of the liberal, hand-ringing lot we have in there at the moment.

This facile claim (above), founded in the simpleton propaganda of a plethora of global cultural Marxists posing as journalists, low IQ recounters of second hand leftist doctrine based myths, is so starkly wrong it just makes me want to laff. In leiu of crying, at how fucked up this world is because of the social ascendancy of dumbfucks like Illy and his ilk. If it weren’t for the gummint and the liberals that run it mandating by legislation unsafe real estate loans to borrowers who were never going to make the payments, the crisis would never have occurred.

Heres’ the real story. Twenty years or so ago, the dipshits leftists in Washington made it clear to banks and other lending institutions that if they did not do something to bring more minorities and low-income Americans into the world of home ownership there would be a heavy price to pay. In typical Marxist fashion, Congress set up processes whereby community activist groups and organizers could effectively stop a bank’s efforts to grow if that bank didn’t make loans to unqualified borrowers.

Enter, stage left, the “subprime” mortgage. These lenders knew that a very high percentage of these loans would turn to garbage, but it was a price that had to be paid if the bank was to expand and grow.

Aside – Guess who was a big mover and shaker in one of the groups (ACORN) forcing banks into making these bad loans. The communist Barack Obama, whose campaign is now managed by the losers from the Democrat party who while working as directors, sent Fannie and Freddie down the tube at the same time as they paid themselves $90 million bonuses.

These garbage loans to unqualified borrowers were then bundled up and sold. The expectation was that the loans would be eventually paid off when rising home values led some borrowers to access their equity through re-financing and others to sell and move on up the ladder. Big mistake.

This is not a failure of the free market and capitalism. What we’re seeing is the inevitable result of political interference by dumbfuck socialists in free market economics.

ABC Bank didn’t want to loan money to Joe Homebuyer because Joe had a spotty job history, owed too much money on his credit cards, and wasn’t all that good at making payments on time. The liberal politicians (like Klinton, Kullen, Klark and Obama) told ABC Bank to figure out a way to make that loan, because, after all, Joe is a straight up minority African American, or forget about opening that new branch office on the Southside.

The loan was made under political pressure and with millions like it, failed and thats why we ended up where we are. You won’t read it in the mainstream media tho. All you’ll hear is the same predictable claptrap spouted by Illy above. Over and over and over, the drumbeat of the Marxist propagandas and dogmatists, reaching as they always are for the hammer and the nails to fasten the lid on the coffin of capitalism.

About Nancy Pelosi. She says the Democrats share absolutely none of the blame for the current financial goings-on. She’s wrong. In fact, she’s lying because she knows here statement to be untrue. I’m going to unload on this when I get back, but here’s your primer:

1. Almost all of the financial problems we see today are based on bad mortgage lending. That would be lending money to people to buy homes who didn’t qualify for a loan.

2. The Democrats, under Clinton, strengthened a government-created monster called the “Community Reinvestment Act.” This law was then used by “activists” and “community organizers” (like Obama?) to coerce lending institutions to make these bad loans … millions of them.

3. Now we see what happens when political “wisdom” supplants good loan underwriting. When private financial institutions are virtually forced to make loans to people with a bad credit and job history .. this is what you get. Enjoy it.

The Democrats have offered us a candidate who is very anti-private sector. Obama believes that America is great because of government and those who, like him, deride the profit motive. If Americans are stupid enough to believe his socialist drivel and put him in office .. .then we will get just what we so richly deserve. This week is just a preview.

No, I think you’ll find that they changed the law so that banks couldn’t decline a loan to a black man who is in an identical financial situation to a white man. You need to get in touch with reality, but I guess you think reality has a left wing bias also huh?

Anyway your still all claiming that the problem is from deregulation, seems though that its ok to claim this if its a left wing party that did so.

Expat (and others): If you REALLY think it helps illustrate your points, to call labour MPs by corruptions of their names that look “sort-of Russian”, then do yourself a favour and at least make a note of the correct spelling of “Mikhail”.

The spell-checker even gives that one to you 😉
