Laura Ede
I noticed quite a few clicks coming through to Kiwiblog from searches on the term “Laura Ede”. So I checked the term out in Google, and sure enough Kiwiblog is the top site that gets returned for searches for Miss Ede.
Second top is the NZ Herald, with this article in today’s paper on her.
Ede describes her job as:
She said she was now responsible for Mr Glenn’s global finances and the business-related matters of running his Monaco-based yacht with its four crew, and administration of the Glenn Family Foundation.
“I have a wide authority for Mr Glenn to take actions that I know he will require. He has learned that he can trust me and rely on me.”
I know someone who is also an EA to a billionairre, and the job is one of huge trust and importance. It can be somewhat all consuming, but never boring.

I’m not accusing you of this, David, but would this even be news if she wasn’t also damn good looking and a previous beauty pageant contestant? Surely this isn’t just another snide MSM attack on Glenn through his choice of EA, just like the attacks on Sarah Palin?
Good looking and smart and proven capable. Is it really so much of a surprise?

Is she the new Cactus Kate? Not that the previous Cactus wasn’t a hottie love goddess with legs to die for but everything ages and falls into disrepair…..

You mean someone real like Prof. Lisa Randall (not a beauty pageant herself) , a top particle physicist from Havard who specializes in theorising what’s beyond the Big Bang? Did we (universe) pre-exist or we had a beginning started with a big bang? Her theory is one of the most cited in Physics academic literatures. A rising star and well respected theorist of today. Hopefully, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) will test out her theory and if found to be true, will lead to a Nobel Prize (the last woman and second only in history to have been awarded one in Physics was Maria Goeppert-Mayer in 1963). Perhaps Sarah Palin/McCain will put her as a science adviser if they win the coming election. I heard a rumor from Auckland University Department of Physics that Randall is one in a list of (top world-wide physicist) names that they’re looking at inviting for the University of Auckland annual free public lectures (Sir Douglas Robb series) in 2008.
Anyway, Laura Ede is awesome. If she is a particle physicist like Prof. Randall (an older version of Ede), then Ede can be viewed as the daughter of God ie, she’s got everything.
I hope that Phil U, doesn’t pop in here (on this very thread) and boast that he is hot, hoping that Laura Ede likes to meet him one day for a date.
