The snivelling cretins who commit violent crime in our society are treated like royalty, and this latest abuse proves that “prisoners” aren’t being punished by merely being in prison.

I reckon we should give them a spade, make them dig their own holes, chain them in there for 23 hours a day, with no shelter. Then, for an hour a day, we let them out to be beaten, tortured and raped by their own kind.

Maybe that’s just my lust for vengeance talking.

One thing for sure The survivors would very reluctant to return and their crim mates would soon reform their behaviour.

A further step

Prehaps these thugs should locked in a tiny room for six months with only bread and water but be supplied with computer and internet connection that can only log on to phil(whoar.co.nz). A nice bit of mental torture there reading all your demented posts, it would not be long before they would be complaining to the Geneva convention.

Well maybe the others will think twice about joining in! Plus they can all have extra terms added depending on their level of involvement as well.

That’s sorta my point. If one’s in for burglary, and another for repeat drink driving, then have them sentenced to the appropriate penalties for those at the time. And charge them each for assault (or injuring, or whatever) for their actions against the guards, and sentence them to the appropriate penalties for that. If you think they’ll get out too qucikly after such actions, then don’t automatically get rid of their parole eligibility for unrelated offending, instead give them really long sentences for the assault.

Of course tkae this into account when considering parole – they assaulted guards, this is an indication it is not going to be safe to release them, but imposing an automatic parole prohibition doesn’t make a lot of sense – punish them with a conviction and a prison term!

When we start wondering about what is and isn’t cruel to prisoners we start to think well gee willikers maybe we should not be locking them away to begin with! And that’s where madness sets in.

yes im taking the piss.. but on a serious note.

my best friend killed his gf many years ago.. he saw a shrink for the first time, 10 years into his sentence! the shrink explained “the only way you get to see me is if you beat someone up or try and kill yourself”.

my friend had asked to see one 6 years before he was eligible for parole, never happened.

the prison system is a joke.

not only are we too leniant, when they are in jail, we dont even try anymore!

PC bullshit.. its a weird cycle.. when youre a child youre ok, then you become a man, the left think youre a sex offender waiting to happen.. then you go to jail and they love you again and ya have rights!

Clearly incarceration is no deterrent to these crazed thugs. A further step is needed.
