My guess is Helen Clark is being economical with the truth in regards to a providing an unpaid meaningless vanity diplomatic post as a quid pro quo for a donation. Not necessarily in the finest westminister tradition but firmly in the tradition of cash for peerages that we know so well from Britain.

Mr Key is being economical with the truth in regards to New Zealand’s largest financial fraud case and it appears that he has committed perjury – and possibly perjury to protect a former colleague.
