This reminds me of the time that I was getting changed at the swimming pool. No, there wasn’t any funny business going on, but there was a blind guy in the changing room with his guide dog. I said to the blind guy “Is your dog male or female?” The blind guy said “Male”. I said “Well, that’s alright then”.

According to the article, he said in court he resisted arrest because he was trying to put some clothes on to “make himself decent”.

Naturally, the cops decided he was therefore a menace and this warranted using batons and pepper spray to get him out of the car.

Now, I’m all in favour of our cops having the tools they need, including all the weapons. But from this story you can see why some people are very much against arming the Police, can’t you?

PS: you’d think the lead cop could have just grabbed him by the jar; then the guy’s heart & mind would surely have followed wherever the cop led him?

just read the letter from Iceland someone helpfully put up in a post, this caught my eye.

where do we stand in this area.
