Facing Off from 11 to 12 Add this story to Scoopit!.

I’m on Faceoff on Newstalk ZB Wellington from 11 to 12 with Ken Laban and Kathryn Asarae.

Topics are:

  1. Are fines for truancy the solution?
  2. Is ACC out of control?
  3. What part of Xmas most annoys you

I’m not sure any part of Xmas annoys me. Will have to think about that one.

“What part of Xmas most annoys you ”

Attempts by the bloody interfering progressives to turn it into a secular celebration.

    “Happy holidays” etc.

    Spit..!!!!

More nauseating social engineering from the left.

Its “Merry Christmas” you arseholes, so leave it alone.

(Notice they don’t insist on the same measures with any multi-cultural festivals. Cringing hypocrites.)

  2. dad4justice (6048) Says:

    Merry CHRISTmas you secular twits.

  3. Manolo (1268) Says:

Give my regards to Justin du Fresne when you see him. He’s a gentleman and an excellent broadcaster.

  4. side show bob (2200) Says:

Is ACC out of control ?, Is the Pope Catholic.

  5. Murray (4654) Says:

Off your face for the second time 24 hours Dave?

And the correct answer to “What part of Xmas most annoys you ” is actually “fuckwits trying to make toe their secular party line.

  6. Monty (419) Says:

    Side show –

Is the Pope a Catholic – current pope yes – but the first pope was jewish.

does a Bear shit shit in the woods – Polar bears don’t

Great answer David o the secular Christmas. – I despise the term Happy Holidays – PC bullshit.

  7. Zippy Gonzales (386) Says:

Well, the Christians stole summer solstice off the pagans before the secularists took it off the Christians.

  8. Murray (4654) Says:

We celebrate Norse gods three times a week and once at Christmas. THATS culteral inclusion.

  9. baxter (893) Says:

    # What part of Xmas most annoys you??…………The fat guy in the red hoody breaking into the house in the middle of the night.

  10. William Fussey (31) Says:

Are fines for truancy the solution? Not if there’s as much compulsion for them to be paid as there are currently for car fines etc. If one is paying $10 a week towards a combination of fines and an extra fine is listed, it will have no effect at all.

Is ACC out of control? Yes. We need to look at tightening eligibility for ACC as some scenarios that currently receive ACC should not be covered by ACC. ACC needs to ask people applying more questions.

What part of Xmas most annoys you? Christmas songs are sung from way too early, the over commercialisation of Christmas, the fact it is celebrating Christ’s birth and I’m an atheist…the list goes on!

  11. Chuck Bird (906) Says:

David, I am amazed at your support for criminals not being made ineligible for ACC when they injury themselves in the commission of a crime. It is shame the whole scheme could not be dumped but it is not politically feasible.

Does anyone else else support the idea that drunk drivers and those who injury themselves in a P lab explication should get ACC as to disqualify them would be against the no fault and I might add no responsibility concept of ACC?

On leaving the hair cutter this week, the staff called out Merry Xmas. I replied HO HO HO. Little Asian guy said, I will teach you Chinese. He said. Ho means good, ho ho means very good and ho ho ho means Santa Claus. Quite. Am trying to figure out how to hibernate between now and mid January. If frogs and bears can do it, why can’t I?
