Karma at last

I don’t believe in psychics sensing murder but I do believe in karma, and that is what OJ Simpson got a big dose of.
Maybe while he is inside for 9 to 33 years, he can keep searching for Nicole’s killer also!
Before he killed Nicole, OJ was not just a big sports star, but almost in a large of his own. Almost every American knew who OJ was, without the Simpson. He truly has fallen a long way.

Found not guilty by a jury of his peers, and still some people won’t let go. Karma? Maybe you’re seeing cause and effect.
as my wise old granny used to say “Give a dog a bad name …”

Jack’s not such a bad name.

I read a few interesting blogs written from an African-American perspective, and they have been in agreement with DPF.
OJ got a get out of jail free card and he STILL couldn’t keep his ass out of trouble.
So no sympathy.

I can remember watching OJ playing american football when he played with Buffalo. The team was probably the one of the worse in its league but just to watch OJ run, his gracefullness and he always made it look so easy. One of the best players I have seen. It is too bad. He had everything. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw him in a white bronco driving down San Diego Freeway with a gun in his hand threatening to shoot himself before he gave himself up. Wow, from riches to “bitches” in jail now. My heart sinks everytime I hear his name. He was a true american hero gone bad.

OJ a hero, don’t think so.
A hero (or not) is what we are left with when the person is gone.
Think Sir Ed, Mother T,
As a person moves and grow though their life it is very easy to forget we get to be here we are, very much by others, get self absorbed and become a blow hard, think Winnie, Helen, Micheal, Mike, think OJ.
Hey Jack you will still in nappies when OJ went to trail right. the first time I mean.

The role of the Brown and especially the Goldman families in getting Simpson behind bars is not being much reported- if it weren’t for their attachments of his property to meet the court ordered damages he wouldn’t have sought to steal the memorabilia. Once again, it was the cover-up that was the problem.

tux, my age, or your age, is not relevant. What is relevant is that neither you or I sat on the jury, heard the evidence and considered the verdict. The verdict was not guilty. Why do so many of you righties have trouble with accepting the rule of law? And would you feel the same if OJ was white?
Oh, and BTW, if by Mother T you mean that horrid, vicious nun wreaking havoc in India, she is no hero. Actually, come to think of it, neither is Sir Ed. A great achiever he may be, but climbing mountains is not an act of heroism.

Sorry I retract. Your granny was right Jack is a really awful name and suits you well.

OJ got off with the charge in a Criminal Law Court. He was sunk very easily and conclusively in a Civil Court where theJudge (s) and or Jury as always have a simpler criteria to pass a verdict.
His incarceration is apt.
His attept to sell his vile biothriller was the start of this batch of Karma.
Frankly I hope he dies, after having never been freed again. The murders he committed were terrible, gruesome, and envy fuelled. He was chemically enhanced, and but for his clever lawyer, and the inept Police, CPS he should have gone down for Double Life the first time.

If you want to see something truly bizarre, check out OJ’s straight-to-DVD prank TV show

“High”lights include OJ trying to sell a white Bronco with signed bullet-holes, OJ telling a guy that he’d just slept with his wife, and OJ’s gangsta rap video. He deserves to go to jail just for making it.

Not likely to run across any dingoes in jail.

Little Jack you are becoming a point of ridicule here because with each utterance you show your naivety and lack of understanding of the world you live, in while you continue to spout world not your own learned in little green boot camps.
Think on this… a good defense lawyers job is not to find the truth as much as to create enough doubt so as to get a person acquit, and/or swing enough bias in a few juries so as to poison a case.

When the trial was on TV, I was working a lot from home, so was able to watch a lot of it. I’ve always thought that it was mistaken identity that killed Nicole.
Nicoles sister had a bad drug problem and I think Nicole was killed by those who thought it was the sister.
The Police did very little to follow this even though they were told by several people that the sister had a problem and owed money.

Not much “Karma” about it – he’s in jail for doing the armed robbery, and sadly it looks like we’ll never know about the murder. He seems to have the right stripes, but (fortunately) most western justice systems demand a higher level of actual proof before they condemn anybody.
Quite unlike the sense of right and wrong displayed by Hayden MacKenzie down on the west coast…
Our system gave a great demonstration of how good it is when it works perfectly, when MacKenzie was found guilty of killing the asian student (just for being asian) – by a jury with demonstrably no knowledge of his first murder conviction (killing a homosexual for being gay, I believe) thus leaving no-one in any doubt about who was responsible for either killings.
And it is tempting to say we should just shoot people like that, but then the other nice thing about our justice system is that this country behaves in a better way than a sick psychopathic killer…

Ratbiter – yes, the “system” got both of McKenzie’s convictions right (although he pleaded guilty to the killing of Jae-hyeon Kim), but then the sentencing judge made an order supressing publication of his image in order to make prison a safer place for him. That’s rather ironic, given that McKenzie cared not one iota for the safety of the victims of his crimes.

OJ should have stuck with football, the rest of his life and his car chases where crap
