It was no surprise to me that Marc Ellis was the most excited.
And let’s face it, not that unusual for a homophobe.
Personally, I always respected Lana. Not clever, but wise in many ways. I would like to know what she truly felt about that show. I felt she would have shined in more international environments, rather than the old conservative judgmental sports crazy farming country.
But I suppose when you are a big fish in a small pond why risk swimming into a bigger pond as a small fish?
Seems to sum up Kiwi celebrities generally, with the exception of the ones that have made it overseas but come back, for the love of the country, such as Dave Dobbyn, Bic Runga and so on.

One day I will meet Marc Ellis.
He will have been disempowered by Matty Ridges messy public divorce and that loser host from that sports show where he beat his wife when he was drunk.
Go like this:
“Hi Marc,” from me.
“You are a poofter. Fuck off!” from Marc.
“You are a homophobe! What did your Daddy do to you?” from me.
“Shut up!!” from Marc.
Then he runs away.
