A corporate guide to blog responses Add this story to Scoopit!.

blogresponse

I found this on Jim Donovan’s blog. Most larger businesses that get mentioned online should consider having something like this to guide them as to when it is useful to respond, and when not to.

I actually talk on this issue to quite a few business groups, so may include this in my standard presentation. The guide is from the US Air Force. Good to see the military encouraging staff to respond on blogs when appropriate.

Yeah, that’s a good idea for businesses. Have them put in place a new, really beaurcratic process in addition to all the beaurcracy they already have.

I hope you give this to every person in the National Party’s Parliamentary Wing and Research unit to keep next to their desk. Hell, every electorate should have one too. It would be a most valuable tool.

The trolls and ragers exits would pretty much wipe out responsive comments on the standard.
